The board approved the use
of metal spikes for 15U & 18U leagues
Make Ups
Home team supplies 3 open
dates within one week of the rain out, if away team can't make those dates,
then home team wins by forfeit. League representative needs to be
notified about reschedule date.
Registration
The board discussed players
eligibility as to where that player player: Players are eligible to play
only in the school district where that player lives.
New players only: If a new
player comes into the league, signs outside community, discussion between
community association must occur and approval given by that player's community
association to play on another team. then by the league representative,
then the board.
Rule Clarification
8U: The runner at 3rd base
can advance home only if a player makes a play on that runner at 3rd base.
If the runner illegally advances safely to home, that player is put back
on 3rd.
10U: Pitching rule: The pitcher
shall hold the ball in her throwing hand AND inside her glove before she
begins the delivery. Delete. Note: Rule is already addressed
in the ASA rule book.
